Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. Her involvement has included various projects. However, the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. The full title is Selena Marie. Parents were Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mother was just 16 when Selena first came to the scene. In the year 2009, Selena was cast in her first film in the show industry as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. So she was one of many children to have played with Barney, the infamous human-like pink dinosaur. Selena was a part of the show's the seasons 7 and 8. She worked between 2001-2003. Fun information: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends in the same time period also, was a co-star with Selena. Selena Gomez, after she quit the show, was unsuccessful in auditions for films and other television shows. After leaving the series, Selena auditioned for roles in various other movies and programs, but she was not very successful.
