Christopher Peter Meloni has been an acclaimed American actor for a number of years. Most famously, he is famous for his roles performed in "Law and Ordinance Special Victims Unit". While in college, he started to develop an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. Though he's appeared in films and in television shows however, it's his character actors on smaller screens that have given him popularity. He has the ability to portray two characters, one from the perspective of the police and the other. That's what is what makes him so famous. His initial project was a TV serial however, he was later an officer for the NYPD. In recognition of his performance on tiny screens, he has received numerous nominations for the prestigious Emmy Awards as well as PRISM Awards. It is his trademark piercing, blue eyes which can be said to help his look attractive. They have helped to portray tough characters in a charming way. People's magazine's 2006 list of Sexiest Men Alive included him.
